A parole hearing for Bill Perkins was vacated on Monday and reset for late October.
The parole hearing was originally scheduled for Monday morning but Perkins’ defense attorney did not file to have Perkins brought from the Colorado Department of Corrections in time, Deputy District Attorney Mark Franklin explained.
Such an action must be filed 10 days before the date, Franklin added.
Perkins was convicted of felony stalking in October 2011. His parole hearing is now set for October 29 at 4 p.m.
