Admiring hatchery

The pool in front of the historic Leadville Fish Hatchery building was built several years ago to replicate a pond that was there in the early days of the building. Standing along the pool on Hatchery Fun Day Saturday are (from left) Ed Stege, Mark Cole, Michelle Mueggler, Gretchen and Tom Underwood, Mike and Tammy Taber, and Judy Cole. The newly constructed porch on the hatchery building, seen in the background, is a replica of the porch that was there when the building was constructed in 1889. See more photos on page 13.
