The Chaffee County Writers Exchange offers the November “WE Write” session on Saturday, Nov. 9, 9 a.m. to noon in Buena Vista at the Sangre de Cristo Electric Company community room.

WE Write group writing sessions are always free and open to the public. This November session will be led by Judy Butler of Buena Vista.

The November topic is “The Word Button – Push It!” concerning creative fun with single words.

Bring a snack to share for a morning break and remember to BYOC (Bring Your Own Coffee). Also bring paper and a writing instrument. This will be an exercise in creative writing.

Be respectful of the group and refrain from wearing perfumes or colognes as some attendees have allergies. Exercises will be based on Natalie Goldberg’s method for writing freely and spontaneously. Attendees may volunteer to read what they write, but there is no criticism of their work.

The Chaffee County Writers Exchange fosters writing and encourages publication through the sharing of resources and information. RSVP to Seating is limited.
