'Views of Lake County' on display at library
Meet the artist Bob Calder, Monday, July 13th from 5-7 p.m. in the library's Leadville Room with "Views of Lake County, Past & Present."

Calder spent years on watercolor paintings and pen & ink drawings of local historical sites. He enjoys capturing views of alleys, old buildings, mines, and ranches. Some compositions come from his photography or other old photographs, or directly from life.

Calder's art is his effort to preserve our local history in images, particularly old structures that will soon be gone.

This is a free supporting event of Lake County Public Library's "One Book, One Community."
