Students donate 1,000 hours of time

Posted: Wednesday, September 26, 2012 2:54 pm

Friday was a little bit of a different type of school day for students and teachers at Lake County High School.

Friday was the school’s second annual Community Service Day. Students helped out at a variety of places including Community Field, Full Circle, St. Vincent’s Hospital, the Leadville-Lake County Animal Shelter, and Lake County Public Library. Students also cleaned up debris along the Mineral Belt Trail and U.S. 24.
