Valenzuela sentenced

Posted: Wednesday, September 26, 2012 12:34 pm

Alonzo Valenzuela was sentenced to probation and five days in jail for his role in a street fight last summer. He will also have to perform 40 hours of useful public service.

A jury found Valenzuela guilty of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct in August. The jury found him not guilty on a charge of first-degree assault. The charges stemmed from a street fight in August 2011 that left one man, Ben Flores, seriously injured.
