The Lake County Assessor’s Office received a clean audit for 2019. The property assessment study was conducted by Wildrose Appraisal, the audit division of the Colorado State Board of Equalization.

Many Lake County homeowners saw a substantial increase in the appraised value of their residential properties in 2019. Some of these homeowners protested their notice of valuation, others did not.

Wildrose’s audit confirmed that the assessor’s office complied with state guidelines regarding sales-ratio studies, market trending, analysis of sold and unsold properties and more in 2019.
