The following information was provided by the Leadville Police Department:

• Following a stop for a defective headlight, the driver, Barbra Hastings, 56, of Leadville, was discovered to have two active arrest warrants and was arrested. She was also issued a citation for driving a vehicle with license under restraint and two counts of violation of bond conditions.

• Officers responded to Lake County High School on March 13 concerning a nude photograph of a student being distributed. Four students were placed on diversion.

• Abby Dominick, 37, of Oklahoma, was cited for display of expired temporary permit on March 15.

• Timothy Lesicka, 39, of Leadville, was arrested for violation of a protection order and obstructing a peace officer on March 15.

• After responding to a vehicle almost hitting a fire engine pulling into the fire station on March 16, officers issued a summons to Amber Martinez-Ebright, 35, of Leadville, for reckless driving.

• Two tires were reported slashed on West Third Street on March 18.

• Timothy Leiczka, 38, of Leadville, was charged with harassment on March 19.

• First-degree criminal trespass occurred in the 100 block of East Seventh Street on March 19 when a vehicle was broken into and tools were taken from a lock box in the bed of the vehicle.

• Police took a dog running at large to the animal shelter and Philip Larwood, 35, was issued a citation for animal at large on March 20.

• Johnny Velasquez, 23, of Colorado, was arrested for violation of bail-bond conditions on March 20.

• Josefa Escobar-Lopez, 46, of Leadville, was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk and driving with no driver’s license on March 20.

• Alex Tillotson, 30, of Leadville, was arrested on a charge of DUI on March 21.

• Joann Pettus, 37, of Buena Vista, was issued a citation for display of expired number plates on March 21.

• Juan Garcia, 31, of Dillon, was cited on March 21 for driving without a driver’s license and display of an expired permit.

• Sydney Everett, 21, of Leadville, was issued a citation on March 22 for display of expired number plates.

• Joseph Garcia, 21, of Leadville, was cited for display of expired number plates on March 22.

• Jesse Vertun, 18, of Lafayette, was cited for display of expired permit on March 22.

• Niber Diaz-Villalobos, 38, of Leadville, was issued a citation for driving while license under restraint and operating an uninsured motor vehicle on March 22.

• Kayla Mejia, 32, of Leadville, was arrested on charges of second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary and theft on March 23.

• Officers responded to the 300 block of Harrison Avenue on March 22 in response to a report of a male hitting people and being disruptive. Justin Cropsey, 38, of Leadville, was issued a summons for third-degree assault and two counts of disorderly conduct.

• After officers responded to a non-injury accident in the 100 block of West Sixth Street on March 25, Andrew Wuenschel, 58, of Leadville, was issued a ticket for limitation on backing.

• On March 25, officers were made aware of students at Lake County High School sending, receiving and showing nude pictures of other students. The case is still under investigation.

• Joshua Baukoi, 43, of Leadville, was cited for trespassing and released on March 28.

• Michael Huptich, 42, of Leadville, was arrested on an active warrant from Eagle County Sheriff’s Office on March 29.

• Michael Rocheleau, 27, of Frisco, was cited for criminal mischief on March 30.

• Michael Ham, 33, of Leadville, was arrested on March 31 on charges of third-degree assault, criminal mischief, domestic violence and harassment.

• Jerry Spencer, 72, of Leadville, was issued a ticket for limitations on backing following a non-injury accident in the 100 block of West Sixth Street on April 1.

• James Bean, 42, of Leadville, was arrested on charges of false imprisonment, menacing, violation of bail-bond conditions and having an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle on April 2.

• Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the St. Vincent Hospital parking lot on April 5. The driver, Andrew Gallegos, 34, of Leadville, was issued a summons for driving while license under restraint and displaying fictitious plates.

• Officers responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of West Fourth Street on April 5. Jordan Lacroix, 24, of Texas, was arrested on charges of domestic violence, harassment and assault in the third degree.

• Omar Ulloa, 23, of Leadville was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license on April 6.

• Officers conducted a stop near the intersection of U.S. 24 and Spruce Street on April 6. Miriam Lozanzo, 22, of Leadville, was cited for driving a vehicle when license under restraint.

• Sarah Howe, 23, of Leadville, was issued a citation on April 6 for having no number plates attached.

• Nickolas Baldo, 35, of Maryland, was issued a citation on April 9 for driving while license was under restraint.

• On April 10, an officer took a report of someone hitting a pothole around Sixth Street and James Street destroying the tire.

• Police reported to Lake County Intermediate School on April 10 on a report of a student bringing marijuana to school.

• On April 14, officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 200 block of Elm Street. Upon investigation, an arrest warrant was written for Joseph Pacheco, 29, of Leadville, for assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree, assault in the third degree, reckless endangerment and harassment.

Individuals charged with a crime are considered to be innocent until they plead or are found guilty.
