The Lake County High School girls basketball team lost both of their home games last week against the Center High School Vikings and Cotopaxi High School Pirates. 

On Thursday, Dec. 8, the Panthers lost 30-58 to the Vikings. Senior Mara Green scored eight points during the game. Jaylene Medina, another senior, and junior Azalea Tapia each scored six. 

The Panthers then played the Pirates on Saturday, Dec. 10, losing by just three points for a score of 31-34. 

The Panthers’ next matchup will be against the West Grand High School Mustangs in Kremmling on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Varsity will play at 4:15 p.m. and JV will take the court at 5:30 p.m.
