A church on wheels

Workmen move the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church via flat bed truck from Climax to its present location at the corner of West Eighth and James Streets in Leadville in the early 1960s. An article on the town of Climax, part of the Herald’s series on boom towns in the Arkansas Valley, is found on pages 22-24.
