OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR A PROPOSED

CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT

Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held December 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. before a meeting of the Leadville Planning & Zoning Commission to consider a proposed Conditional Use Permit for a Change of Use at 809 Spruce Street, Leadville, Colorado, legally described as: N. 31’ OF LOTS 1, 2, 3, BLK 65, STEVENS & LEITER, S. 24’ OF E. 22’ LOT 30 BLK 65 S & L, EASEMENT ON S 13.5’ OF LOT 31, BLK 65 S & L. The applicant, City of Leadville, is seeking to Change the Use from Bed & Breakfast to Boarding & Rooming House, which requires a Conditional Use Permit. The proposed Conditional Use will be considered by the Leadville Planning & Zoning Commission at a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. It will then be considered by the Leadville City Council for a final approval at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. Zoning of the property is in the Traditional Residential (R2) District. The public hearing will be held via Zoom and at City Hall, 800 Harrison Ave., Leadville, CO. All interested parties are urged to attend. All written comments, other than those presented at the public hearing, must be received at the Planning Office, City Hall, 800 Harrison Ave., Leadville, CO 80461, by mail or personal delivery by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022.
