The following information was provided by the Leadville Police Department (LPD):

— On April 1, officers responded to a medical call at East Second Street and Plum Street to assist with the extraction of a man from a sink hole.

— On April 4, officers assisted the Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) with a DUI arrest.

— On April 5, officers responded to the Rodeway Inn after receiving a REDDI report. A local woman was charged with a DUI.

— On April 9, an officer took a report of an unemployment claim being filed without the victim’s authorization. An information report was completed as a result.

— On April 12, officers responded to a hit and run accident on West Sixth Street. The victim’s vehicle saw minimal damage and a report was taken.

— On April 12, officers responded to a vehicle accident on East Seventh Street. Both vehicles saw minimal damage and a report was taken.

— On April 15, officers responded to a disturbance in progress call on Harrison Avenue. After further investigation, a local woman was charged with third degree assault.

— On April 19, officers received a report of domestic violence at the Lake County Community Field. Upon further investigation, a man was arrested for domestic violence.

— On April 19, officers were dispatched to Poplar Street on a property damage call. The suspected vehicle was located and three adults were issued citations for alcohol-related offenses.

— On April 21, officers and LCSO deputies responded to a criminal mischief and harassment call on Harrison Avenue. Benjamin Cliver, 38, of Edwards was arrested for criminal mischief, harassment, resisting arrest and assault on a peace officer.

— On April 22, officers responded to a traffic accident at James Street and West Eighth Street. There were no injuries and a man from Dillon was cited for failing to yield right of way.
