The following information was provided by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO).

– On July 24, deputies responded to a lost property call in the 2000 block of North Poplar Street. The case is under investigation.

– On July 24, deputies responded to a hit and run accident in the 200 block of Mountain View Drive. It is under investigation.

– On July 27, a Silverthorne man, 29, was arrested in the 100 block of Mineral Belt Way on warrants out of Summit County.

– On July 27, deputies responded to a possible domestic violence call in the 500 block of North Poplar Street. A Leadville male, 42, was arrested on charges of violating a protection order.

– On July 28, deputies responded to a possible burglary in the 300 block of East Third Street. Four juveniles were contacted and parents were called to pick them up.

– On July 28,  LCSO received a report of a violation of a protection order in the 500 block of Harrison Avenue. The incident is under investigation.

– On July 29, a deputy conducted a traffic stop at County Road 46 and U.S. 24. A Denver female was issued a citation for speeding within a construction zone.

– On July 29, deputies responded to a shed on fire in the 100 block of Highway 300. The fire was put out. Cause is under investigation.

– On July 30, deputies responded to an accident in which a vehicle struck a deer in the 2100 block of Highway 300. There were no injuries and the deer ran away.
