The Leadville/Lake County Economic Development Corporation is hosting the “Business Winter Uncertainty Roundtable” for business owners and community leaders. Important updates on COVID-19 will be given, as well as business and community guidelines for moving into the winter months. The format for the event will be a panel and the focus will be best practices and ideas to put into place to address the current health issue. The roundtable will be held over Zoom and is set for Thursday, Oct. 15 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

Speakers on the panel will include: Colleen Nielsen and Beth Helmke of Lake County Public Health Agency; Rachel Pokrandt of Colorado Mountain College; Bethany Massey of Lake County School District; Dan Torsell of Ski Cooper; Christine Street of Treeline Kitchen as a restaurant representative; Tracy Purdy of Independence Realty & Property Management as a lodging representative; and Jason Hall of Alpine Furniture Company as a retail representative.
