The following information was provided by the Leadville Police Department:
— On August 1, officers issued a summons to Yesenia Chairez, 26, of Leadville for failure to appear.
— On August 2, officers received a report of a felony menacing with a handgun. The case is currently under investigation.
— On August 2, officers took a report of a cold burglary which occurred on Harrison Avenue. The case is currently under investigation.
— On August 4, officers responded to Ice Palace Park in regards to trespassing. Rigoberto Navar Robles, 58, of Leadville was issued a citation for municipal court.
— On August 4, an officer was dispatched to West Fourth Street on an animal bite call. Kyle Crawford, 31, of Leadville was cited for a vicious animal.
— On August 4, an officer was dispatched to Harrison Avenue on a call of theft.
— On August 5, officers cited Landon Mentink, 35, of Leadville for display of expired number plates.
— On August 5, officers cited Morgan Iams, 33, of Leadville for display of fictitious tabs and driving under restraint.
— On August 5, officers took report of a hit and run on Harrison Avenue. Daniel Blaise, 36, of Leadville issued a summons for a DUI, failure to give information after damaging another vehicle and failure to notify police of an accident.
— On August 5, officers conducted a traffic stop on East Eight Street. Justin Downs, 21, of Leadville was issued a citation for a one way roadway violation.
— On August 5, officers received a report of a drunk driver. Jason Martin, 51, of Aurora was arrested for DUI, DUI per se and failure to appear.
— On August 6, officers took report of theft from the Silver Dollar Saloon. The case is currently under investigation.
— On August 8, officers assisted Lake County Sheriff’s Office on an altercation at Mountain View Village East.
— On August 9, officers conducted a search warrant on East Eighth Street. Several arrests were made for a variety of charges.
