The following information was provided by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO):

— On Aug. 27, deputies responded to a report of road rage on Colo. 91.

— On Aug. 27, deputies responded to a report of harassment on Harrison Avenue. A Leadville male was cited for harassment and assault.

— On Aug. 28, deputies responded to a bike theft on Hwy. 300. Deputies recovered the bike and a report was taken.

— On Aug. 28, deputies reported a vehicle verse animal accident on U.S. 24. There were no injuries and the vehicle was towed.

— On Aug. 29, deputies responded to a 911 call from a male stating he had been assaulted in Twin Lakes. A report was taken.

— On Sept. 2, deputies responded to a vehicle rollover on Hwy. 300. Several hours later, a Leadville male was cited for failure to report an accident and striking an unattended vehicle or property.

— On Sept. 2, deputies responded to a a slide-off call on Hwy. 82. The vehicle was not occupied and was towed.

— On Sept. 3, deputies  responded to a verbal dispute on Hwy. 300. The parties were separated and a report was taken.

— On Sept. 4, deputies responded to a report of theft on Harrison Avenue.

— On Sept. 4, deputies responded to a vehicle accident on U.S. 24 after the driver fled from the scene. The vehicle was towed and the accident is currently under investigation.

— On Sept. 6, deputies responded to a report of domestic violence on U.S. 24. A Leadville female was charged with child abuse after evidence was brought to deputies.

— On Sept. 6, deputies responded to a report of domestic violence on U.S. 24. A Leadville male was arrested for domestic violence.

— On Sept. 7, deputies assisted Colorado State Patrol in responding to a hit and run accident on Hwy. 82.

— On Sept. 7, a deputy was flagged down on report of a possible DUI. A Leadville male was arrested for DUI.

— On Sept. 7, deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person on Harrison Avenue. Joseph Mascarenaz, 24, of Leadville was arrested on an active warrant.

— On Sept. 7, deputies responded to a traffic complaint call on U.S. 24. A Leadville male was arrested for driving while impaired and contributing to the delinquency of minors.

— On Sept. 8, deputies responded to a call concerning several assaults on U.S. 24. A warrant was issued for a local male after investigation.

— On Sept. 8, deputies assisted the Leadville Police Department (LPD) in responding to a domestic violence call on Hemlock Drive. A Leadville male was arrested for violation of a protection order.

— On Sept. 9, deputies observed three ATVs travelling at high speeds on Colo. 91 with one swerving around a vehicle. Deputies attempted to pull the ATVs over but the drivers sped off. One of the ATVs crashed, hurting a passenger. The driver was issued a summons for careless driving and other charges.

— On Sept. 10, deputies responded to a possible domestic violence call on Bluff Drive. A Leadville woman was arrested for domestic violence and harassment.

— On Sept. 11, deputies responded to a report of a camper off Hwy. 82 who refused to move his tent. An Aurora male was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

— On Sept. 11, deputies responded to a domestic violence call on U.S. 24. A male from Guatemala was arrested for third degree assault, harassment and domestic violence.

— On Sept. 12, deputies arrested Luis Aguilar-Hernandez, 32, of Mexico on two active Lake County warrants.

— On Sept. 12, deputies responded to an animal problem on Hwy. 300. A Leadville male was cited for dog at large.

— On Sept. 13, deputies responded to a harassment call on Harrison Avenue.

— On Sept. 15, deputies assisted the LPD in responding to a traffic stop on U.S. 24.

— On Sept. 17, deputies responded to a vehicle accident on Hwy. 82. A vehicle was towed.

— On Sept. 19, deputies responded to a vehicle accident on Hwy. 300. A vehicle was towed.

— On Sept. 20, deputies responded to a menacing call on Poplar Street. Robbie Quintana, 42, of Leadville was arrested on outstanding warrants and was also charged with menacing.

— On Sept. 25, deputies responded to a harassment call on Hwy. 300. Deputies talked with those involved and took a report.

— On Sept. 25, deputies responded to a property crimes call on Silver Eagle Court. The reporting party said someone potentially popped his tires with a screwdriver.

— On Sept. 28, deputies responded to a disturbance call on East Ninth Street. The parties were separated and a report was taken.

— On Sept. 30, deputies responded to a fatal vehicle accident on U.S. 24. Colorado State Patrol took control of the scene.

Individuals charged with a crime are considered to be innocent until they plead or are found guilty.
