The following information was provided by the Leadville Police Department (LPD).
— On Feb. 5, officers responded to the 100 block of West Fourth Street on a welfare check.
— On Feb. 5, officers responded to U.S. 24 to assist the Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) with a traffic stop.
— On Feb. 6, community service officers were patrolling the 100 block of East 10th Street and reported an abandoned car.
— On Feb. 6, officers responded to the 400 block of East Eighth Street on a report of an individual vandalizing a person’s car.
— On Feb. 6, officers responded to the 100 block of Harrison Avenue on a call of harassment.
— On Feb. 7, officers responded to the 300 block of Harrison Avenue on a call of theft.
— On Feb. 9, LPD responded to the 500 block of Harrison Avenue to conduct a municipal court bench warrant arrest.
— On Feb. 12, officers responded to West Seventh Street on a call involving a mental health crisis.
— On Feb. 14, officers assisted the LCSO on a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) operation at the Rodeway Inn.
— On Feb. 15, officers responded to the 500 block of Leiter Street on a possible domestic violence incident in progress. One 22-year-old male from Michigan was arrested for causing damage of $1,000 and domestic violence.
— On Feb. 16, officers responded to the 700 block of Harrison Avenue on a report of trespassing.
— On Feb. 17, deputies responded to the 300 block of Harrison Avenue to assist the LCSO on a call of public indecency.
— On Feb. 18, officers responded to the 500 block of Leiter Street on a violation of a protection order.
— On Feb. 20, officers responded to Mountain View Drive to assist the LCSO with a traffic accident.
— On Feb. 21, officers responded to the 100 block of Harrison Avenue on a report of a possible sexual assault.
— On Feb. 21, officers responded to 1000 block of Poplar Street to assist the LCSO with a call involving a mental health crisis.
— On Feb. 22, LPD received a phone call from a party who wanted to report a protection order violation.
— On Feb. 23, officers responded to the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue and arrested a 40-year-old male for driving under the influence of alcohol and an outstanding warrant.
— On Feb. 23, officers responded to the 400 block of East Eighth Street on a report of possible harassment.
— On Feb. 25, officers responded to U.S. 24 on an agency assist involving a vehicle slide off and an individual driving under the influence.
— On Feb. 27, officers responded to U.S. 24 on a report of trespassing.
Individuals charged with a crime are considered to be innocent until they plead or are found guilty.
