Panther of the Week
Lake County High School (LCHS) student Justyne Pereida is this week’s Panther of the Week. Pereida recently finished a three-night stint playing the lead role of Maria in the “The Sound of Music.” Pereida started performing in middle school and has progressed from an ensemble member to a lead role two years in a row. Last year, she played the Wicked Witch of the West in “The Wizard of Oz.” A positive presence both on the stage and at rehearsal, Pereida was voted best in show by her peers following the recent production.
