Evelyn Sue Kerrigan

Evelyn Sue Kerrigan, 84, of Lakewood, and formerly of Leadville, the beloved wife of the late William Louis Kerrigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on March 11.

Kerrigan was born in Hartford City, Indiana, on September 17, 1936, to George and Marie (Knecht) Ravaux. Nothing brought her more joy than taking care of others, especially her family.

Kerrigan is survived by her sister Georganne (Ronald) Bryant of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; her five children, Mike of Grand Junction, Kerry, Susan of Steamboat Springs, Sean (Anne) of Eagle, and Marty (Joe) Kerrigan-Mazzotta of Glenwood Springs; her five grandchildren, Casey of Portland, Oregon, Ben of Grand Junction, William of Bellingham, Washington, Megan, and Liam of Glenwood Springs; and many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews/nieces, and a few cherished friends.

A rosary and funeral will take place at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver, on May 6 at 7 p.m. and May 7 at 10 a.m.

A memorial and burial will take place at Annunciation Church and St. Joseph Cemetery in Leadville on May 8 at 10 a.m. A reception will take place at Freight, 320 E. 9th St., later that day.
