Health care delivery often presents many challenges. For those of us who have been in health care for decades, there are moments when you take a step back to recognize a very well orchestrated delivery. One of those moments happened recently in our hospital. It was a challenging situation for both the staff and the patient. The support that St. Vincent Health received from Solvista Health, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and the Leadville Police Department (LPD) was extraordinary.
Everyone involved in the situation worked together to enhance patient care and safety for all involved. On behalf of the physicians, nurses and hospital staff, I would like to personally thank our partners in our community. My greatest gratitude goes out to Solvista, LCSO and LPD. Thank you so much for keeping the community and us safe and cared for.
