Mr. Alvin Blake wrote in the Nov. 11 Herald that we should “require” everyone to get the vax. I respect his willingness to inject this experiential drug into his veins. I ask that he, and others, respect my decision to abstain. My three granddaughters visited for three days.  The day after they went home, the girls tested positive for COVID-19. My husband and I did not get sick as we had natural immunity from a previous bout with the illness eight months prior. Immunity does work. I am not convinced the jab is a healthy choice for me. As neighbors, let’s agree to disagree without “requiring” others to comply.
