The Lake County High School boys basketball team won two non-league games last week, bumping the team’s overall record to 3-1 this season.

On Wednesday, Dec. 8, the Panthers played Custer County High School of Westcliffe and won the game by a score of 63-57. Lake County’s team outscored Custer County High School in the first half and held on to a slim lead in the second half as their opponents rallied.

On Saturday, Dec. 11, the Panthers played Sargent High School of Monte Vista. Lake County’s team won the game by a comfortable margin of 60-22.

The Panthers will play one non-league game this week against Del Norte High School on Saturday, Dec. 18. Del Norte High School has a 2-3 record so far this season.
