The Lake County High School girls volleyball team played five matches last week, including a league game, three tournament games and a non-league game, amassing only one loss.

On Thursday, Sept. 30, the Panthers played a league match against Platte Canyon High School of Bailey and swept all three sets by comfortable margins for a 3-0 win.

On Saturday, Oct. 2, the Panthers competed in a tournament and beat Conifer High School in two sets for 2-0 win. Later on that day, Lake County’s team lost 2-0 to Skyline High School of Longmont. The team ended the day with a 2-1 victory over Riverdale Ridge High School of Thornton.

The Panthers also played a non-league match on Saturday, Oct 2 against Greeley Central High School and won 2-0.

This week, the girls team played The Academy of Charter Schools of Westminster on Tuesday, Oct. 5. With a record of 13-2 this season, the Panthers have three remaining matches, including DSST Montview High School of Denver on Tuesday, Oct. 12.
